20+ Funny & Interesting Editor Notes on Wikipedia Articles

We all know Wikipedia as the closest thing we have these days to the font of all knowledge, but it takes a lot of work behind the scenes to be that way. An encyclopedia that technically anybody can edit has to work hard to ensure it doesn’t spread misinformation or faulty research (our teachers were right on that count).

If you have never done a Wikipedia edit, it may never have occurred to you how they try to enforce this, and their reasoning for it on a case-by-case basis. Well, a fascinating recent Twitter thread is here to answer that query anyway. Showcasing different examples of editors chastising wannabe Wikipedians for attempting to make the same faulty or frowned upon edits, it’s an interesting insight to how one of the most invaluable websites of all time actually works. Also, it’s quite amusing in the way that it platforms things about certain fandoms and indeed human nature in general.
