There have been a lot of rumors circulating recently that Robert Downey Jr. is set to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I don’t know if he’ll be appearing as a ghostly cameo or if the MCU will engage in some necromancy. It’s been a couple of long years since he left the MCU, and the movies seem to suffer for it. He’s probably the biggest star of superhero movies that we’ve got, and he’s done very little since the constant flow of superhero movies kept him extremely employed. Remember when he starred in a Dr. Dolittle remake that came out right before the pandemic? Me either. He did kill it in Oppenheimer in a small but important role, but I want to see this man get top billing again!
