I love a long weekend moment, but usually, it comes in the form of a Monday off. That can be cute because the week after the long weekend seems to fly by, and the Sunday Scaries that used to plague us no longer haunt our dreams. Even so, there’s usually not much you can do on a Monday off than just recover from the good times you had on Saturday and Sunday and dread the short week ahead. Thanksgiving truly is that girl because it gives us not only on Thursday but also on Black Friday to do as we darn well please. It amputated the week from the backend and not the front, and I love that for me and everyone else who’s lucky enough to get these couple of days off.
