Working out: it’s one of those building blocks of health that can’t be overlooked. Along with diet, friends, and environment, it’s one of the most important factors in determining how long you’re going to live. Oops, didn’t mean for that to be a memento mori! But it’s true– there’s so much we can do right now to ensure our future longevity, so why wouldn’t we do them? 

It’s simple: because they’re not that fun to do right now. It’s so much for fun to eat chips, watch TV, and hang out with our friends late at night than it is to go to bed early, cook healthy meals, and go to the gym. But it’s all about balance. You can never expect yourself to leave your bad habits fully in the dust. But you can add some future-focused ones every now and again. But memes? Memes are always a good idea.
