Spicy food is not for everybody, and I’ve got just the amusing anecdote to illustrate that. When I was a kid, I went to a golf tournament through my connection with a dog adoption non-profit. Those details aren’t important, but what is important is that I and all of the geriatric attendees of said golf tournament were given a bag of chips aptly called «Doritos: First Degree Burn.» This product was not long for this world, and it’s easy to see why. I ate about three of these incredibly spicy chips, and my mouth felt burnt the whole rest of the day. Perhaps this was because I was 11 and not used to consuming spicy food, but in no world should a couple of chips ruin your day as those chips did to me.
