Late at night when you’re all alone, the doorbell rings– there’s someone home. You can’t help but wonder if this is the end, but no, it’s just me, serving up a freshly baked batch of memes to soothe your needs. 

Insomniacs have this nagging little problem of staying awake through the night, avoiding sleep in order to pursue binge-able TV shows, dark web Reddit threads, and eternal memes. After midnight, Internet searches reach an unholy and unhinged place where sleep holds no power, out of pocket comments prevail, and everything seems a little off-kilter. To be fair, it’s probably the brain damage that users have sustained from doom scrolling a little too long with their phone screen’s brightness at maximum, but perhaps there’s a special part of the wild, wild web that attains it’s truest form in the wee hours.
