I get why some people don’t like pickled foods, but I think they’re neat. I’ve never met a vegetable that doesn’t benefit from vinegar in some capacity. It even works with fruit sometimes. I have a friend whose parents make him pickled watermelon and I have to vouch for it. In fact, I would be as bold as to say that many different things that are preserved and left to mature have the potential to be great. We see it with things like wine, classic TV series, and indeed some of the best memes.
