We’re in a very transitional time of year. It’s not quite late on enough to start speculating about 2024 (unless you work in certain industries), but it kind of feels like the current time has given us all that it was ever going to give us. It’s enough to make even the most secure individual start questioning a few things about their life, and that isn’t always fun. Not that it doesn’t make it important, of course.

This leads us to wanting even more escapism than usual. Big shock, memes are here to provide us with that. No need to start plotting the new year glow up so early; we’ve got our procrastination needs to attend to first. Sometimes the best thing to do when change is in the air is to embrace the feeling of weirdness. Aside from the entertainment that they bring, memes are very good at doing this for us.
