Showing your true self to people is a challenge for anyone. Since introverts are inherently a little kooky and kind of weird, it’s especially difficult because we’re secretly a little worried that people aren’t going to like the real us. Well, fortunately there is a solution to this problem that every introvert can get behind– just avoid people! Sure, we have our small group of friends who tolerate our weirdness, but beyond that, introverts have no qualms shutting down the advances of new friendships. In fact, most introverted people are happy to stay in their own lane, socialize on occasion with pre-vetted groups, and live a simplistic, peaceful life with our favorite weirdo on Earth: Ourselves.
