Time keeps marching along whether we want it to or not. I’m always in awe of how much time has passed in the literal blink of an eye. Does New Year’s Eve feel like it was two weeks ago, or what? I know I’m happy to be taking my summer clothes out of my wardrobe, but at what cost? It feels like we’ve been in 2024 for approximately 8 minutes, but it’s nearly halfway over. 

As much as I hate on the passage of time, I also live for it. If you’ve got one leg in yesterday and one leg in tomorrow, you’re peeing on today. Why should we let the fear that time is going by too quickly diminish the power of the now? Today is May 5th, and we only have 24 hours of that, so we had better use it well.
