As the states try to segue into some kind of normalcy by opening up businesses and encouraging people to «get out there» (masked or vaccinated) we’re reminded of one blaringly painful fact. That we hate humans. Loud. Rude. Entitled. Oblivious. The moment we step outside or onto the train, the misanthropy starts bubbling over, making us wish we’d stayed at home. In these moments, it’s beneficial to flat out pretend that humans don’t exist. And with the sheer volume of animal memes on the internet, we know we can pretend for quite a while. They’re so much better (and cuter) than humans. It makes sense they’d make better meme subjects, too.
