Are you familiar with the saying ‘How are you holding up’? Usually, people ask other people this question when they are facing a hard time. Maybe when their loved one is not well or they are having some financial trouble. Well, I think it is time that we start coining this sentence as a normal greeting even when you just meet a coworker in the morning. Because I need people to ask me how I am holding up, it is not easy, and I need to be comforted and cared for.

I also very much would love to have a conversation with someone who actually wants to hear how my life is going, and not just ask out of politeness. Lately if feels like we all got so absorbed with our own issues and problems, that we have no energy to listen to someone else’s stories and experiences.
