A Pleasing Patina of 30 Different Memes

Old stuff isn’t always better, but it can often be pretty cool. There’s a reason why billions of people visit museums every year. Maybe one day, there will be a museum that is entirely dedicated to memes. They already put on exhibitions about that kind of thing sometimes.

In the meantime, though, we’ve got the sweet embrace of the internet where we can opt in to being a part of meme history. It’s something that’s happening in front of our very eyes. If you’ve been around long enough, you’ll have seen countless trends ascend to the top, become cringe, then be relegated to deep fried obscurity.

That’s the way it goes, with memes and with life. Even the most famous people alive today will be barely remembered in ten thousand years, if humans are still around by then. Anyway, that’s not what we’re here to think about. Have some forgettable entertainment.
