Every single part of looking for a new job sucks, big time. Writing cover letters and enduring painfully awkward interviews (sometimes five of them) is awful. But what is possibly the worst part about the ordeal is all the rejection. Whether it is your dream role or just something easy and flexible to pay the bills, being told you are not good enough can be a pretty extreme blow to your self-esteem.

That rejection can feel even worse if you went through a particularly nightmarish interview process, and not all of us have the balls to call out bad hiring behavior. This was not the case for one individual, who has recently gone viral for a rejection email that spells out quite an eventful conversation. If only they hadn’t had to say all those things in the first place.
