Confidence is a skill that’s usually learned. most of the people who seem like they’ve been completely self-assured their entire lives were probably the exact opposite at some point. That, or they were just gifted so much privilege that they never stopped to care.

For the rest of us, believing in ourselves can be a little more difficult. It’s at least half the reason that the world is the way it is. As they are an escape from most things, memes offer a welcome escape in that they are by definition the ultimate self-promoters. All they care about is getting their message across as efficiently as possible, and people respond to that. 

Maybe we should all try and be a little more meme like in how we come across. Or maybe not, seeing as there are downsides to that. Looking at them might just be enough to give us a boost, as shown here.
