We have had to accept by now that memes are pretty addictive. Once you’ve seen one, you aren’t going to satisfied until you’ve seen another, and another. Every day browsing memes is an endless quest to try and find the ultimate one, something that we know we won’t achieve. So we keep on looking at even more! Hell, there’s enough of them out there to keep on doing that for a very long time, and it’s not like it’s a taxing thing to do. In fact, it’s pretty darn enjoyable most of the time. Not all memes are the most memorable or even entertaining, but there will always be another one around the corner ready to make it all OK. My years of dealing memes have made me certain of that one. The best we can do is sit back, relax, and let the memes wash over us. It feels great.
