Company Pulls Job Offer After Applicant Asks to Negotiate His Salary

One of the most important parts of applying for a job is not asking about money too early. That might sound silly or unfair, but it’s just how things are. Of course, I’m not saying you should never talk about money at any point in the job interviewing process. Once you get a job offer, it would be foolish not to ask about money. Negotiating your salary can be the hardest part of the interviewing process because you’re asking for something from an entity that hasn’t fully brought you on board yet. If you mess this up, you could miss out on thousands of dollars. Luckily for you, even if the negotiation doesn’t go as you planned, it’s not like they will take away the job offer for you trying. That is mostly unheard of unless you’re Reddit user u/Pristine_Today_6729, whose job offer got revoked after he asked for a mere $1 per hour raise.
