Crazy cat ladies are a thing for many reasons. First of all, it’s because are feline companions are so darn adorable. Secondly, so long as you have a supply of food and a can opener, they make you feel wanted and needed for all of five minutes. Thirdly, there is something kind of formidable about being the head of an army of cats. If it weren’t for price of the upkeep and the awful mess that they can create, there would be a heck of a lot more people out there clearing the shelters and the streets of our little meowing friends. Sadly, though, we’ve got practical considerations to think of, so we have to settle for the consolation prize. Cat memes can’t replace the real thing, but they remind us why these critters are so great to have in our lives. Plus, they’re a great way to pass the next couple of minutes.
