Don’t you hate it when you become the Charlie Brown of your friend group instead of the Linus, Lucy, or Snoopy? I would even tolerate being Pig Pen instead of moping around like young Chuck, but alas, that is not always the case. We kind of take it for granted that Charlie Brown is the depressed holiday icon. He does not try and pretend to be happy during the holiday season when he’s just not. He makes everybody else accommodate his bad mood and get him a Christmas tree! That’s a depressed legend if I’ve ever seen one. 

I know that despite how much I praise Charlie Brown, that doesn’t make the sting of depression during this time of the year any easier. If you’re at home and feeling like the bummed-out teenager you were ten years ago, you should scroll through these depressing memes to know that you’re not alone.
