Merry Christmas, everyone! Or at least to those who want to express a little holiday cheer in the middle of July. Mid-summer might not be the most wonderful time of the year for everyone, but at least Christmas enjoyers can celebrate the holiday six months earlier than intended. Also, in much warmer weather than intended.

The holiday season was a very special time for a lot of people growing up. Rampant materialism, spending time with family members who you’d really rather not see, fruit cake, and the constant stream of Christmas commercialism being shoved down our throats. If it’s not clear, I’m not the biggest Christmas fan. I’m more into the «spending a bit of genuine time with the friends and family you love» aspect of the holiday. But I’d be lying if I said I don’t enjoy a good present once in a while.
