There are a plethora of parenting styles, but it’s difficult to deem one method as the best. No two children are the same (unfortunately), and different parents have varying levels of patience so this whole ‘gentle parenting’ fad will definitely not be sustainable for every mom and dad out there. Some parents just aren’t big fans of punishments either, they’d rather have their kids do something to prove they understand what they did wrong. For example, if a kid doesn’t clean their room, rather than giving them some unrelated punishment like, «No more TV for a week,» they should do something that makes them realize why it’s important for them to have a clean room. We can’t think of anything specific, because, well, we don’t claim to be experts either.

But anyone who actually regards themselves as an expert in the parenting field… We don’t wanna hang with them. For those of us that are just doing our best, let’s enjoy these silly memes.
