We’re living in a time when convenience seems to be absolutely everything. Instead of enjoying a leisurely walk to the farmer’s market and soaking up the sights and sounds of the neighborhood, people choose apps that send someone else to do their shopping. It’s never been easier (or more expensive) to eat locally. Instead of spending your hard-earned money at local boutiques, bookstores, and thrift shops for that special gift or new clothes, many of us rely on Amazon, Etsy, or even eBay. When was the last time you actually stepped into a community bookstore instead of reading on your phone or Kindle, or simply clicking the «Buy Now» button? 

These changes in how we consume and engage with the world have taken away some of the magic from our daily lives. The simple satisfaction of leaving the house and checking off tasks on your to-do list, one by one, has been lost. However, we do believe it’s okay to take shortcuts when it comes to enjoying memes, tweets, and other funny stuff. That’s the one exception.
