‘How did people from the late 1900s to early 2000s graduate’: Lazy Gen Z college student brags about using AI for every assignment, gets dragged by the internet

Most of us college graduates know all too well that a university education doesn’t come cheap. Call me old-fashioned, but for me, this was an incentive to actually attempt to learn something. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t always the most studious undergraduate. Nonetheless, when the time came for me to be handed that fancy piece of paper I felt like I was ever-so-slightly wiser thanks to the efforts I put in.

It’s wild to think that the entirety of my education happened pre-AI craze, and even wilder how it has totally changed the landscape of learning for so many. This has been underlined in a recent controversial screenshot where a current college student revealed to the world how they used ChatGPT and QuillBot for all of their assignments. When it went viral, most people were not in agreement with this way of gaming the system. It isn’t the best way to use your brainpower.
