Everyone has their preferred mode of exercise, and no one mode is superior to another. If you get your kicks by kickboxing, or if you get your reps in at the racetrack, or if you get sweaty the the soccer field (OK I’m all out of alliterations), all that matters is that you’re staying active and having fun. 

But it can be difficult to hone just what works for you. In gym class, we’re taught that running laps and playing scooter hockey are the keys to health, while fitness influencers now convince us that powerlifting is essential for peak physical form. Those might be true for some people, but definitely not all of us. Perhaps your niche is table tennis, Australian handball, or wheelbarrow racing. You’ll never know until you try. So get out there, get physical, don’t let the fitness bros get you down. Or enjoy these memes while you avoid doing just that.
