Memes For Chronically Online Minds

By all means, metrics and medical professionals, I should be classified as «chronically online.» I have been using social media since I was a wee tween, and I have not stopped ever since. I still remember Twitter discourse from years going back. I was scrolling through meme websites when there were only image macros available. The only reason I have the job that I have is that I spent hundreds of hours of my life perusing the internet. Being online is part of who I am, and I wouldn’t change it.

I don’t necessarily consider myself «chronically online» because I don’t spend my life stewing about the things I see on the internet. I understand that social media is not real life, so I don’t bring it into my offline life. These silly little websites are machines designed to get me angry and addicted, and I refuse to let them make me angry all the time. It’s crucial to let the bothersome memes roll away like water off a duck’s back.
