Everybody has little phrases that they pick up. Even if you’re not a recurring character in a popular situational comedy, you’re bound to develop a catchphrase that your friends come to know you by. I am literally addicted to talking like a weirdo, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s a list of some of the words I use every day of my life: gorg, gorgina, diva, fierce, werk, and mama. Basically, I talk like a cartoon character.

My vocabulary goes beyond an exaggerated gay lexicon. I also have subconsciously picked up phrases from some of my favorite comedians. For instance, when I am interested in something, I say I am intrigued and compelled by it. I didn’t know why I said it like that until I rewatched an episode of my favorite web series UNHhhh and saw that exact combination of words being used by Katya Zamolodchikova.
