When there are kids playing at the park, they establish a dominance ranking system and will always pick one from the group who is the outsider. The loser kid gets bullied and everyone seems to be pretty okay with that. Human nature is pretty predictable like that. Well, for American states, it’s no different. Somehow each state has earned some sort of persona that has followed them around in the «social hierarchy» of the country’s dynamic. California is a bunch of fake-nice rich people. Alaska is full of rural ice people. Texas is bigger than everybody else in every way. Oklahoma is where they shot Tiger King (enough said).  New York is mean. Florida is… well, Florida. But one midwestern state has earned the reputation of being the loser of the group, getting bullied by all the other states– Ohio. An apparent hellscape to all who live or visit there, Ohio can only be described negatively and the Internet has taken that over the edge, memeifying the state itself and turning everyone against it.
