The gaming community is a unique and powerful beast. I use the word «community» loosely because a. it encompasses so many different types of people it’s hard to find a working definition and b. it rarely agrees on just about anything. Nevertheless, video game fans are so numerous and diverse that most people can relate to at least some of the many, many memes created about the things that they play. 

Seeing as it’s one of the most popular hobbies out there, we’ve all tried our hand at what most popular franchises or consoles have to offer, experiencing the delirious highs of winning as well as the frustrations that come from just not being able to get past that damned level. Those game developers really have the reward centers of our brain sussed, because it seems like many will stop at nothing to keep coming back for more. The memes reflect that, for sure.
