There’s nothing like taking a break from work to remind you that being expected to clock in and do labor in some form for a weekly 40 hours minimum straight up sucks. Lord knows, taking an hour for lunch can be enough to show us that. Even those of us lucky enough to do something we enjoy can identify with the fact that most jobs are boring at times, as well as being incredibly good at sucking our will to live. 

Still, we keep on keeping on because there’s a paycheck at the end of it all somewhere. If only getting said paycheck was not such a depressing task for so many people out there. While we should always want to make sure that we as employees get the fairest deal possible, there are also easier ways to soothe the pain. Work memes are both plentiful and relatable, and they’re not afraid to call out the BS when they see it.
