Not to be an apologist for The Man, but not all work sucks. Sometimes having some mandated structure to our day is exactly what we need. While the tasks that we do aren’t always essential to the functioning of society, it’s still nice to experience the pleasure of a job well done. Sometimes it is, for lack of a better word, satisfying.

It’s still true that most jobs leave us overworked and underpaid, and that their frustrating moments are many. However, we have to remind ourselves of the good points now and then. If we didn’t, things would get way too depressing. 

At least in times of struggle, we have memes to give a sympathetic voice to our concerns. They’re an outlet that helps us make way for the more positive times (if there are any to be had). One day at a time, we will get through another working week. Let’s do this.
