One of those things that many of us didn’t appreciate enough as kids is that we got a summer break. Six whole blissful weeks in which we didn’t have to conform to a routine, unless we went to camp or something. In a dream world, even working adults would get the opportunity to take this kind of break. 

In reality, though, we’ve just got to tough it out for another stretch of time (unless you happen to live in certain parts of Europe). Vacation time is hard to come by, and even when you’ve got some going spare, there’s no guarantee that it will be approved. 

In lieu of a holiday, we’ve got one other attractive option: making some time to slack off. Memes are the perfect excuse for doing that, and if they’re memes about the workplace, they are topical anyway. Think of looking at these as some kind of research.
