It’s kind of crazy to think that not everybody out there has to work in their lives. For most of us, it takes up so much of our time all week that it is hard to imagine the alternative. Most of us weren’t meant to prioritize the grind over friends, family, and personal wellbeing, but we’re at this particularly crappy point in time when lots of people do it anyway. 

Many of us don’t really like our jobs. Nonetheless, we’re forced to keep them on because of boring reasons, like being able to afford being alive. It all means that we need somewhere or something to help us blow off steam, that is at least somewhat healthy. Memes may only deliver on this promise slightly, but it’s enough to stop us quitting in a rage for the time being. Until the next annoying encounter that makes us question our professional identity, my friends.
