Gosh, there are so many different categories of relationship status these days! It’s no longer as simple as single or taken, married or divorced. There are the couples who love posting cringe about how great they are together, and those who can’t help but post about how not great they are together. There are the happily single, single people desperate for a relationship, and those who are kinda sorta trying to date, but ultimately more invested in stalking their ex’s Instagram. Oh, and how could we forget all of those who are suffering in situationships? The list goes on.

For those seeking that special fish in the sea, it can make things rather complicated. Dating apps seem to have a drought of those with qualities like adequate communication skills, or a conscience.
