Do you ever think about how in just a few short years, it’s become normal behavior — encouraged, even — to start recording with our front cameras and tell the world about the most intimate details of our life? While it didn’t come out of nowhere, it can occasionally seem that way. At least we can still say that no matter how many brand deals somebody like Tube Girl gets, it is wildly embarrassing to watch a TikToker filming a skit out in the wild. It’s probably not going to stay that way for long, though.

Although my Boomer-ish instinct is to complain about TikTok culture, I also have to admit that these trends I bemoan can have some entertaining results. They certainly get me stuck scrolling that cursed app for hours, anyway. To avoid such a predicament, you can just look at some of the amusing screenshots from the place instead. Don’t say we never do anything for you.
