These days it feels like there is so little we can count on. We can count on the grumbles and moans of hunger filling our bellies at some point in a 24 hour period. We can count on the ever-quickening passage of time and the feeling of life slipping between our fingers. And more often than not, we can count on disappointment. Most consistency seems to be reserved toward the negative (especially over the last two happy years).

Amongst all the muck and mire of predictable pain and letdown, there are some fairly reliable bright spots. A chuckle with an old friend every other week or so. A good strong cup of coffee, just the way you like it. And then once a week, right here, a dependable dose of memes made of and dedicated to our favorite scenes from the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit. All things Tolkien, really. So it is with great pleasure that we serve up this weekly escape from the bad and into the fantastical and funny.
