There is a lot going on right now in the realm of fantasy television. This past Sunday, HBO debuted its Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon. It’s been receiving good reviews – and enticed a whopping 10 million viewers during its premiere, making it HBO’s largest premiere in history. Next on the roster? None other than The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.  The show has inspired a lot of discourse, and obviously, a whole lot of memes. Both the shows include BIPOC actors, and apparently, so-called purists think that’s wrong. While we appreciate all the memes surrounding that sort of ignorant racism, we much prefer the dumb Lord of the Rings memes we’ve been shilling every Tuesday. For the most part, we avoid politics and seek out stupid jokes, relatable humor, and obviously, all of our favorite LOTR references. And we’ve got a whole bunch right here, ready for your eyes and scrolling muscles.
