All of us should experience a humbling from a cat at least once. It’s easy for us to get high and mighty about our human abilities, and the fact that we wield the power over the can opener. What it makes us forget is that we’re only as good as the animals we have domesticated over the years, and some of them love nothing more than winding around our legs and trying to trip us up.

It’s true, cats are absolute rascals. We love them for it though, and that’s part of the reason why we commemorate them with endless amounts of memes. They’re just too darn entertaining for us to ignore them on the internet. That’s just as well, because we would be missing out if we did. Cat humor in meme form is both diverse and distracting, which is all we could hope for with a meme-related niche.
