Cats are a great big paradox. How is it that they are consistently such aloof and mischief causing a-holes, yet they manage to be so infinitely lovable? There’s a reason that all the tried and true dog people don’t get cats, because on the outside sharing your life with one is a pretty raw deal. We can’t expect any undying loyalty here.

What these dog lovers miss is that’s part of the appeal. All of our feline friends have a mind of their own, and the fact that they share it with us sometimes is the greatest privilege. It also helps that they’re hilarious, and make for the perfect meme inspiration. There are probably millions of cat memes on the internet at this point, so we will have to make do with the tiny proportion offered up here. Hopefully, they provide a lot of quality in relation to the quantity.
