Communication is super complicated. Most of us do it every day, so we don’t think about it that much. However, what we often forget is that the way we speak with other people operates on so many levels of implication and cultural expectations. It is almost always vulnerable to misinterpretation, whether by accident or on purpose. 

While sometimes this can be rather frustrating, we can also use it to our advantage. At least, we can make some kind of funny retort out of it. Those on the receiving end might not thank you, but that doesn’t always matter when you can see the humor. Technical truths might not be the answers that most people are looking for, but sometimes, they’re the answers that we need.
