Sometimes it feels like the Internet exists to make people angry. It’s not like we needed any help in the rage department. Here, in the brutal, cold, and heartless world of New York City, I become enraged by everything from small inconveniences to just missing the elusive G train. On the Internet, much like during my commute, anything is fair game. Think it might be nice to cook dinner for your neighbors?  People are gonna get mad about it. Are you a man who likes the color blue? Congratulations, you’re perpetuating gender norms. There really should be a version of Rule 34 for angering strangers online, because it can literally happen about anything. 

Twitter user @punished_cait provided us with ample proof of this thanks to a now-deleted tweet in which she asked fellow bird app users to share the funniest things people got mad at them for on the quickly unraveling website.
