Where would we be without eggs? As a person who doesn’t eat meat, eggs are a huge staple of my diet, any way, any how. I’ll take ‘em scrambled, soft-boiled, fried, or whisked into a pot of soup, I’m in. It’s a perfect, whole food. Fats, omega 3s, protein, and a delicious savoriness that’s hard to replicate elsewhere. 

Eggs can be a fickle beast, though. Sometimes you bring ‘em home from the grocery store, and to your horror, one of them has already cracked, leaking its raw contents into the very receptacle that was built to keep them safe. Sometimes, if you’re making a sunny side up egg, the white atop doesn’t fully cook, leaving you with clear wet goo straight from the depths of the underworld. But get an egg right, and it’s heaven. Get an egg meme right, even better.
