Well hello there, comic book nerds and MCU fanatics. Welcome back to another marvelous week of Marvel memes!

I’m going to let you in on a little secret: I managed to avoid seeing a single Avengers movie until relatively recently. I didn’t have anything against Marvel, nor did I have a single strong opinion about the franchise as a cultural phenomenon. For whatever reason, I simply hadn’t seen any of the movies. Then, when WandaVision came out, I was like, «that looks pretty good, I think I’ll watch it.» As you can imagine, I had no idea what was going on. A friend suggested that I watch some of the Avengers movies for a bit of context, so I decided to start with Avengers: Endgame. Don’t ask me why—apparently I don’t know how chronology works. From there, I sort of jumped around, picking Avengers movies at random until I could finally piece together the overall narrative. But you know what, that’s sort of how Marvel movies and series are made now, so if you think about it, I was probably watching the old movies the way Marvel had always intended.
