Well, summer vacation is in full swing now and it’s exactly how we all expected. Stick, hot, and all about the kids. No wonder it was so fun when you were little. Your family was setting everything up for you. All of a sudden it makes sense why your parents were desperate to send you to summer camp. Stay with the grandparents for a couple of weeks, kiddos? Yes please! Sure, you of course miss your little monsters while they’re away, but it’s nice to get a few real vacation days. Because you know that family vacation is barely a real vacation for you. Maybe you get a few hours in the sun, but at what cost? Wrestling your kid to put on sunscreen? Lugging around every possible snack under the sun? God we love those tiny replicas SO dang much.
