Listen, the Devil works hard, but the people of Twitter work harder. They will be pumping out Grade A internet humor until the day that site eventually gets shut for good. However, we can’t deny that the very best days of the platform are probably behind it. It may still be amusing now, but in the mid-2010s nowhere had it beat for chronicling the off-the-wall textual humor of the terminally online (although Tumblr was a close second).  

It has got to the point where there is a pantheon of tweets that are nothing less than timeless.
