25 Self-Deprecating Anxiety Memes to Giggle About in Therapy (July 15, 2023)

People ride roller coasters because they like the stomach-in-mouth feeling of falling from dizzying heights and the heart rate spike of taking sharp turns. For an anxious person, we get that same feeling from answering a phone call. Like a real life roller coaster, that stomach churning feeling doesn’t just go away, in fact, sometimes you just need to tighten your seatbelt and go along for the ride, but when you’re having a micro anxiety attack, it’s probably best that nobody snaps a photo of you going into the ascent. What’s nice about this is that anxiety is free. You don’t need to pay admissions fees, you don’t need to eat price gouged food, and you don’t need to carve out an entire day on the calendar for being anxious. That delightful tickle in your throat and heart rate spike is right there with you at all times. So keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times and enjoy the ride.

For last week’s batch of highly anxious hilarity, check out these anxiety memes to snicker at for a little longer.
