One of the most fun things about being a part of a huge fandom like Star Wars is the connections you can make inside of it. It’s easy to meet someone and immediately have common ground with them. How often do you get that with someone? But so many people love Star Wars that the odds are high that you can have something to talk about, whether it be a favorite character, movie, or piece of lore that you can pick over together. 

I’m sure there have been lifelong connections formed over the bond of Star Wars. From all the childhood friends that connected over their first viewings together to the couples forged by their mutual nerdiness to the online relationships formed in message boards and group chats.
