Created by the man behind «The Simpsons,» Matt Groening, «Futurama» is an unashamed love letter to nerds across the globe. The writing is painfully clever, the characters are iconic, and you’d have to be living under a rock to not be aware of it. Sure, it appeals to a broader audience, but to call it anything other than science fiction is a betrayal of the meaning of the genre. The first new episode was incredible. I recommend anyone with a slight interest to check it out immediately.
