Let’s be real here. We’re all a little bit too old to be watching Saturday Morning CartoonsTM. In fact, I would wager that some of us are not even in the age demographic that experienced the OG Saturday Morning CartoonsTM. I will admit, I’m a part of that Gen Z crowd, but believe it or not, we had our own form of SMC. We had a little channel called Boomerang that played all of the iconic cartoons of the 60s and 70s. Hanna-Barbera cartoons were king on this channel, and I got a little taste of all of it. I was a huge Pink Panther and Wacky Races girl, but I enjoyed some Yogi Bear and Scooby Doo on the side. It’s so important to watch old cartoons and get a sense of cartoon history beyond when you were growing up. If you loved SMC and want to consume something equally stimulating, these funny memes will hit the spot.
