Happy Tuesday, y’all. Today may not be my favorite day of the week, but it’s one of my favorite days to work. That’s because I get to indulge my nerdy side and collect a ton of Lord of the Rings memes for Tolkien appreciators such as myself. Every week hundreds of LOTR-related memes are shared on Reddit, Facebook, and Instagram, and thanks to their creators, I can now share them with you.

While I normally get a good chuckle or two during the process of meme collection, this week I actually learned something thanks to one of these internet tidbits. Apparently, Sean Bean is super scared of flying, and according to an image macro I snatched from Reddit, he was highly against the idea of taking helicopters to some of the more remote film sites. Instead of riding with his co-stars and crew, he would take a ski-lift part of the way and then hike the rest. Badass. 

Unfortunately, I didn’t stumble across any other cool factoids on my journeys. But that’s okay, because when it comes to how we like our memes, the stupider the better.
