Sometimes I think everyone sees themselves as the underdog of their story. Since everyone is the main character of their life, almost nobody sees themselves as the favorite or the sure-fire winner. Maybe some people do… definitely Barney from How I Met Your Mother since he thinks Johnny Lawrence is the true hero of the Karate Kid. But almost everyone who watches a movie identifies with its protagonist in some way, and our culture loves stories about unlikely heroes succeeding against all odds. But the world can’t be made up of underdogs. Someone has to hold the power. So who’s telling the truth and who isn’t? We need a Seventeen Magazine-style quiz for that.
